This dual dialect storage appliance allows both NAS and IP-SAN storage in a single, affordable appliance. It can be deployed in existing Ethernet networks and is perfect for departments, branch offices, and small or home office (SOHO) users. ISCSI support allows block applications like Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server and Oracle to be deployed or stored on the same server as traditional file services and storage. Ideal for both primary and secondary storage, it provides many enterprise-class features at an affordable price tag.
The StorTrends 1100i offers hot swappable drive bays with SATA support. Other features in StorTrends iTX 2.6 for the 1100i include the Advanced Snapshot module, local and remote data replication, thin and exact provisioning, network teaming support, and support for caching and UPS devices.AMI's unique data snapshot technology offers near-zero performance degradation by reducing the number of I/O operations by a factor of three. Network teaming support ensures load balancing across the appliance's dual Ethernet ports. The ManageTrends web-based GUI for StorTrends iTX Data Storage Software discovers and manages StorTrends appliances deployed across the network and assists in analyzing and tracking enterprise wide storage usage. ManageTrends monitors the storage performance, capacity and storage-related events, and provides a detailed analysis of the storage usage and the availability of the storage servers.
